Hope someday Biewer Yorkie will be recognized too and get the same benefit with other already registered breed. Does ABRA do give some kind of benefits and protection to the listed breeds on them?

akc disquilifies any patch of white on the body of a yorkie other than a small 1 inch on the chest. The so called Biewer is a throw back from the Maltese. Years ago the Maltese was used to bring down the size of the Yorkie but the white was undesirable so there for it was bred out of the Yorkie. All you people are doing is bring back the Maltese and beings it is a breed of its own. You should not try to breed the Maltese back through the Yorkie.

The Biewer Yorkie is not recognized by AKC. Years ago the Maltese was used to breed down the size of Yorkies there for by breeding the white back into them in fact is just making a Maltese.
